About

Photographer portrait

I've been photographing wildlife for [X] years, starting with a basic point-and-shoot and a lot of patience. What began as weekend hikes with a camera has turned into a serious passion for capturing the natural world on its own terms.

Based in [location], I spend most of my time in [local parks/regions/habitats]. My favorite subjects are [birds / predators / whatever fits] — there's something about the split second before flight, or the stillness of an animal that doesn't know you're there, that I keep chasing.

Every photo in this collection is a moment I waited for. I hope you find one worth keeping.

The Approach

Patience Over Everything

The best shots come from waiting. Sometimes that's 20 minutes, sometimes it's three visits to the same spot.

Natural Light Only

No flash, no staging. The goal is to capture a real moment, not manufacture one.

Minimal Post-Processing

Light adjustments for exposure and color. The animal looks the way it looked.

Gear

  • Camera: [e.g. Sony A7 IV]
  • Primary lens: [e.g. 100–400mm f/4.5–5.6]
  • Backup lens: [e.g. 24–70mm f/2.8]
  • Tripod: [if relevant]

Gear matters less than the person holding it — but people always ask.
